Hopeless pub in a decent location with zero ales. Staff normally friendly but needs sorting out theposh - 30 Jul 2011 00:34 |
Always happy to update my thoughts and MTM is closer to the mark, there has been good money spent on this pub and it has paid off, a young clientelle and you feel a little out of place as an older patron but after saying that you dont feel threatened, The staff are welcoming and most importantly the beer has improved. The Indian restaurant is still attached. Lets be fair here this was a dire town centre pub stuffed in a 60's building now its a modern pub that feels welcoming .. Bravo.. Don't be fooled by previous reviews. The first one talks of a rough place with bad everything. Since the post was made the current liscencee has completely remodeled the Territorial with modern amenities such as intenet access, internet jukebox and has completely revamped from floor to ceiling with modern materials. This change has left some of the more unsavory characters a bit put out and as such they have moved on to other establishments. The locals in the Territorial are now a great bunch of lads and lasses who are more intersted in a night of entertainment than trouble. Additionally the staff and owners are a delight to be around and always treat everyone as equally as thier regular patrons! The last post is completely untrue and seems to have been penned by a former patron that was looking for a way to get even for barrment or another negative event. I say this because in a majority of comments I can find a few items that I agree with or even could see thier point. This review speaks nothing of the Territorial and describes a completely different establishment than the one I patronized. It also seems to have been written more in anger than any real reflection. I highly reccommend the Territorial and the tenant indian! The Chicken Tikka Masala is some of the best I've ever had! MTM - 22 Jun 2009 17:20 |
Awful ....really awful..Poor beer..rotten decor..What a pub on Mars would be like...No atmosphere..One redeaming feature is the Indian restaurant attached on the side which is well worth a visit..The drinks are brought through from the pub and there is a slightly confusing two bill approach (one from the pub and one from the Indian.. If i were giving this marks for the Indian it would be 7 ...as its for the pub...Oh dear oh dear Ziggles - 23 Apr 2008 15:21 |
