I booked into this country pub for an overnight accommodation, evening meal and breakfast. What a mistake - the bedroom door didnt fit the frame so wouldnt close, it had no lock anyway, dirty carpets, there were no curtains (only a broken blind), wind blowing through a gap in the frame and no efforts to block out the traffic noise or street light streaming into the room. There was a dog wandering around upstairs, the stairs themselves being extremely steep (which would not be an issue except it was overhung by a storage shelf where items could easily have fallen and there was no sign of a handrail for safety), the bathroom was down the corridor and unclean, plus (given the overall cleanliness of the place) I decided to forgo the evening meal and breakfast for fear of the kitchen being in the same unhygienic state. Somewhere I will never book again! SingleVisit - 9 Sep 2011 13:07 |
great pub, we in the Real Ale Questers Cycling club (both of us), fell off. . . excellently kept beers, one and only criticism from last visit - tablecloths ? what's that all about......?! rioathmusV - 16 May 2011 18:51 |
How do you know I'm a fairy, are you a medium? I swear on my chin I will have you barred. That's the last birthday you'll have in my establishment. mr_crunt - 28 Jan 2011 23:45 |
No you don't, and you should not be commenting on a pub which you don't even know. Bugger off, there's a good fairy. The_Final_Arbiter - 28 Jan 2011 23:37 |
