Because Babies and kids are starting to ruin most UK pubs every Saturday and Sunday lunchtime, for the average punter, who just wants a few pints in peace! Whereas dogs are glorious animals who can behave themselves! Pat_Bateman - 2 Jun 2010 13:46 |
How can you have a sunday lunch that welcomes dogs but not kids? Nice ale and food though. Trouble21 - 2 Jun 2010 13:40 |
Excellent pub for beer drinkers. Staff and management are wonderfull. Always a very warm, friendly welcome. aledrinker1 - 18 Jun 2009 13:13 |
Visited here a few weeks ago after a long walk. Loads of well kept ales to keep you occupied and staff offered a warm welcome. Menu looked good too - I'll be returning to give it a try. Chubbyduck - 30 Mar 2009 20:13 |
The recently fully refurbished White Lion offers a superb selection of constantly chaging real ales. All are well kept and no self respecting beer lover should pass this place by! Good menu offered Tuesday to Sunday up to 9pm. On one Saturday of each month there is a guest artiste. The pub runs a good fun pub quiz every Thursday night with cash prizes and jackpot. As well as the real ales noticed the pub also sells Leffe and Staropramen on draught. A glance through the small but well chosen wine list will, I think, please the discerning diner. tomriley - 22 Aug 2008 17:17 |
