please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This is now a Starbucks. There was obviously far too much money to be made selling coffee to the local workers to let it remain a pub. There is still some alcohol served in some form, but there is no real ale anymore and the usual Starbucks attitude and atmosphere applies.

Being on a business park, it's geared up mostly for brisk lunchtime trade as a result of which the food is a bit canteen-y, but as a pub it's actually got quite a lot of character. The Thwaites is OK for draught ale and there's a good selection of other beers, so I've visited here a few times on a summers evening - it's generally quiet, mostly with people escaping the neighbouring Aztec Hotel (and presumably the new budget hotel that's going up right next to the pub!), but its friendly enough.

Amazingly nice considering the location ....don't know if a lot happens in the evenings as it's is in the middle of Aztec West business park ?

Thwaites on tap !

A little oasis of good ales in the middle of a business park on the outskirts of Bristol. Owned by Thwaites, this pub has old world charm and character. Good for after work, esp in summer when the tables outside are great for relaxing and enjoying the sun. May be redeveloped in the future.
