| Not sure about this place. The Welshman is no longer around (try The Malin or The Anvil)so it lacks a bit of atmosphere. He seems to have taken his mates with him because it is now empty at tea time where as before there was always 6 or 7 older guys in. Beer isn't up to much either. The food is very nice though and I recommend their pizza's. That been said, if you are after nice ale and a good chat, try The Anvil. | Nice friendly pub, could do with a decent beer( not lager).Bar staff nice but Landlord can be grumpy. Spent first night being entertained by a rather merry welshman. Worth a visit Junior - 21 Jun 2005 13:02 |
