| Seems to go up and down in quality over the years. Currently on an upward swing. Four or five real ales in good condition. Decent and fairly reasonable pub food. One of the very few places in and around the Vale of Belvoir that actually shows live football on TV. | I went in the lounge as opposed to the more sport based bar area. Not bad but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. It's a bit run down and caters too heavily for the sports crowd for my liking. I didn't see any real-ale when I went (I've only visited once) but, to be fair I didn't really look. I was in the mood for a pint of smooth so that's what I had. I've also noticed that the place seems to attract crowds of youths who tend to gather outside the front entrance. Doesn't exactly give a strong incentive to enter inside. The food menu looks OK and reasonably priced, but I'm not sure I'd go back to this place any time soon. siddo - 6 Sep 2009 15:11 |

| Great village centre local. There are 2 separate rooms - one for just boozing, the other for food and booze. They have big screens for footie and rugby, etc and serve 4 or 5 fine quality cask ales. Cobbo - 4 Jun 2004 22:41 |
