| if you are going to amsterdam then its very very simple. just get off damrak, and dam square. its a bit like going to london and only eating drinking and shopping in leicester square, when soho is so close. if you only go a street or two off damrak/square you'll find a ton of special places. sod the europub, and find somewhere good. | I can understand the comments below, suggesting that this place has great atmosphere, however, it was quiet when I visited and disapointing. Staff behind bar attempted to be cheery, but came of as a touch forced, and beer certainly over priced, compared to other bars / cafes in Amsterdam centre. Also the beer selection is unimpressive. | Nice modern pub right on the edge of Dam Square itself. Draft Bavaria is lovely and service is quick and pleasant.
