Please note this pub has been refurbished an is now called the Generals Arms. Originally called the Misty Moon, this pub has gone through a remarkable transformation. I only rated it as a 4 when it was a run down Chesham dive. But in mid 2016 it reopened as the Generals Arms with a lovely interior, Sky Sports, food, and a great range of beers. The only down side is some of the original clientele still linger. JonnyConsumer - 8 Aug 2016 07:34 |
Though it is fitted out like a typical Wetherspoon it has a very run down look and feel to it. I swerved the ale here and had a lager. Also it was the emptiest Wetherspoons I've been in - no one about on a Saturday night. It's key selling point is it's proximity to the station. anonymous - 1 May 2016 10:31 |
5.6 out of ten? I think the manager has been on here.........terrible place haven't been here in ages as I do not live in Chesham but awful. I had heard it had been taken over, a large chap behind the bar looked so scruffy then asked me if I was eating. No thanks! Berkomateyboy - 30 Dec 2011 12:04 |
This is an excellent pub with great music. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Ideal for an evening when you want to go out for quite a few beers. Pintdude - 28 Jul 2011 06:56 |
