Still serving the regular IPA and Abbot ales alongside Scrum Down, a special from GK while the rugby world cup is on. The fourth pump supplied Twickenham's, Naked Ladies. At least here you do get a couple of different beers than you normally find in most Greene King pubs. fugglehops - 10 Oct 2015 21:40 |
What's happened here? A Greene King pub with two guest ales! Never thought I would see the day. IPA and Abbott the two regular brews, but also two changing guest beers. Today's choice; Tolly Cobbold's Pheonix (admittedly brewed by GK) and Purity's Pure UBU. Food was good (two meals for 11:95). Pleasant staff. Will return later in the year. fugglehops - 31 Jan 2015 21:03 |
Went in a came back out. Didn't try the beer but was regulars like Bombardier. Looked an okay modern pub but not for me. busker999 - 9 Sep 2012 15:35 |
Pleasant pub, good Greene King ales, freindly staff, good outdoor area. To be recommended.. jfrebrycn - 29 Jul 2012 11:13 |
Friday lunchtime, last rays of summer. Very friendly staff. Not too busy but not empty either. Did the "two meals for 8.95" thing and they were at the top end of pub food and superb value at that price. Excellent range of vegetarian choices on the menu. Hadn't been in here for a while, and trying to remember why not, then remembered that the "non-smoking room" was rubbish, back in the day. It's certainly back on our list as regular now.
