| Been going in here for nearly 35 years. Has plus points: friendly people and staff; good furnishings and a nice atmosphere. The negatives are that the beer can be very hit and miss; the food is sometimes inedible esp if the Chief Microwaver "Mr Dead" is working and has its share of chav's. Can only rate a 5/10 when far better selection and quality of beers are available within walking distance at the Holyhead (6/10), the Gatehouse (8/10) and the Town Wall Tavern (9/10). topman40 - 29 Apr 2011 16:34 |
