Visited on a very hot day in July, which meant the terrace area was mobbed. As a Queenslander the sun is not a rarity to me so I went indoors where it was much cooler, and almost deserted. Big place, spread over a couple of levels. An adequate number of staff meant all were being fed & watered without fuss. I had a pint of something called Gem (2.55), which was perfectly fine. An above average Wetherspoon's. Queenslander - 2 Oct 2014 23:19 |
not a bad Lloyds No1 Bar which can be handy for after work drinks when on a late shift as they are open til 2am sun to Thurs and 3 on Fri and sat,ale selection is Poor and quality unpredictable but its ok for a late night pint, sadly as of late if there is more than 20people in the place after eleven sun to wed its busy! On other hand sat nig can be a total meat market so its either one extreme or the other! 7/10 fat_beer_badger - 13 Mar 2012 01:10 |
This is the best Wetherspoons I've encountered. I visited on a sunny weekday afternoon, and sat out on the terrace by the waterside, with a nicely chilled and extremely reasonably priced glass of Chardonay. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Cedaroak - 16 Jul 2009 09:30 |
Very good real ale, nice outside terrace. Healthy climb to the toilets! Baldpat - 1 Sep 2008 18:36 |
One of the nicer 'spoons with outstanding quayside views. Just visited (Friday afternoon) and it was almost empty. BobOs - 22 Aug 2008 20:57 |
