| The Red Lion has re-opened! In a triumph of good sense, it is exactly as before - even the beer range is unchanged (even if it could do with the odd slightly more interesting real ale). | Tragic! I went out to see and the damage is worse than I thought. It's going to be closed for some time. I uploaded a photo of the interior before the fire, I hope it gets put on as a memory of how quaint this pub was and hope that it will eventually be restored although hundreds of years of history has gone up in smoke.
