i went into the master builder last week and i have too say i am not at all impressed. took me a while to get served for a drink because the poor barstaff were trying to take food to tables and work the bar, there clearly was not enough members of staff working that evening. i was quite shocked at how over priced the drinks were, with several other pubs in the area selling drinks at a lower price im suprised this pub is even making any profit. the pub does look clean and tidy and its also dog friendly which you rarely find now. food prices were fairly reasonable depending on what you order, but the quality of the food wasnt brilliant for the price you pay. i wont be going back, i would rather go to burger king algersewebba - 27 Feb 2013 14:00 |
this pub used to be good a few years ago but with in the last year the pub has dropped its standards, the managers are no where to be seen and staff are left to deal with everything. this place is over priced and very poorly run. it would have a good atmosphere if people could afford to eat or drink in there. hope it gets sorted out soon because if its not i can see the master builder being pulled down too the ground by the end of this year! lucyjones89 - 23 Feb 2013 19:47 |
My local pub - good beer and food and friendly staff - would recommend!! - families not made to feel unwelcome like the Barley Mo Derbyshire! Good_PubGuide - 15 Mar 2010 14:34 |
