| We went for lunch on a cold wet saturday afternoon for our second visit to the pub expecting to enjoy the same standard of food that we had enjoyed on our previous visit 4 weeks before. How sadly we were mistaken. Two people in our small party of three ordered the same meal of the Carvery Stack only to be served overcooked, dried out beef that should never have left the kitchen. One dish was returned and replaced with similarly overcooked beef but freahly carved. The young man clearing the table apologised for the food but no acknowledgement from the manager or Chef.
