Friendly pub serving Abbot Ale and Old Hookey, our two favourite real ales. Enjoyed several live music events here. m12 - 14 Jun 2010 19:58 |
This pub is in a lovely setting in Preston. We enjoyed sitting in the garden when the sun decided to come out! Good pub grub, served quickly & staff very friendly. space1978 - 25 Mar 2010 10:04 |
Nice pub with a nice garden and decent childrens play area. Good to sit outside on a summer's evening. The menu is reasonably priced but the food is not of a high standard, and the roast in particular wasn't very nice (overcooked and potatoes tasted recooked). The lasagne was good enough although most of the dishes are very average. The restaurant section is OK but feel it could do with a refurb as looks a bit outdated IMHO. Service is reasonable, however can become very busy, with the wait for basic meals over an hour at peak times! Nice enough pub for a bite to eat if you're not too fussed about your food!!
