Called in here early evening, even though it wasn't busy, the service was slow, staff seemed keener on moving furniture around, or cutting lemons and limes etc. Half way through my second pint, we were approached by a member of staff/landlady and asked to drink up and leave. It appears that they were having a private function and only those invited could remain in the pub. We felt quite uncomfortable and unwelcome and certainly won't be calling again. I don't enjoy having to bolt my pint down after having paid top dollar for it! hail_the_ale - 2 Nov 2012 21:10 |
If you drink real cider like Westons Old Rosie. Whetherspoons price for this is 2.30p a pint here it will cost you 5.25p a pint even for West London this is a bit of a rip off AMACPHERSON - 3 Aug 2011 21:18 |

fatty steak sandwiches and not that impressive fish and chips......that's what i meant to say on the previous post! DanLeyland - 12 Apr 2011 14:41 |
Everything has changed here from a few years ago. Now doing very, and I mean, very bland burgers in cheap buns, fatty steak sandwiches. they try to mask it by serving it on wooden boards. Service mostly bad tempered, or, some brainless, yet evidently cheap mainland european person who doesn't know what the hell is going on. Go to the atlas up the road if you are in the area. avoid this place though as they really dont have a clue. the parfait was okay but really if you get that wrong, you need to give up.
