Visited on Saturday lunchtime to watch the England v Australia RU game on the big screen tv. Myself and a mate made very welcome by the staff and the regulars. Generally a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Easily accessible from Richmond and Kingston with stops for both the 371 and 65 buses close by. Thoroughly decent pub. hintertuxsurrey - 3 Nov 2013 12:35 |
I went to this pub a couple of wks ago and thought it was a lovely and homely place to be. I ended up staying there longer than I was supposed to as the regulars and bar staff were such lovely and happy people, I saw there was a bar menu so as u would I ordered some food I had the fox and duck burger which was amazing and didn't wait long at all. They also have live bands every Saturday so I will DEFINITELY be going back 100%. Zarablue - 18 Sep 2013 22:06 |
Having run away from the awful Dysart round the corner this was a lovely change. A proper pub. Friendly and welcoming. Dogs allowed. sarahcl - 1 May 2012 10:53 |
Went there on a Sunday at noon time for a quick bite and drink with the family - sat outside. We ordered, it took ages for the food to arrive. Hamburger (Special Fox and Duck burger) was barely eatable... honestly the worst burger I have ever had anywhere! 6 quid for that? Ripoff. The other food did not arrive after 40 mins so we cancelled, got a refund without hassle and moved on. To be fair, this is probably a decent pub for a beer and for sportsfans. But would I go there with a family for lunch again? Nope.... Sorry. hamandpetersham - 26 Apr 2012 21:34 |
A friendly place that is always worth popping in when in the area and making a special trip to for some of the live bands they have on at weekends. Bands like Echoes (Pink Floyd) and Thin White Duke (David Bowie) bring in the crowds. Matthew_of_Ham - 27 Nov 2011 21:40 |
