Visited this Pub for the first time last week, although I have lived in and around Richmond for a very, very long time. What a nice surprise, the spacious interior of the pub was traditionally wood panelled but because it was light oak it was not at all dingy, just very warm and characterful, nice outside areas overlooking Petersham Meadows with views to the River. Drinks are Sam Smith’s own, and were reasonably priced. The Menu was varied enough to meet any taste, and the food was served quickly, well presented, was very good, and extremely reasonable. The Manager and his wife told us they had just taken over at the Pub and were very much looking forward to making it as popular as it deserves to be. A real jewel away from the bustle of the town centre – we will definitely be back.

Sam Smiths that was much quieter than the Roebuck up the hill. The pub is reasonably large, with plenty of seating. All beers are keg - Extra Stout, Cider Reserve, Double Four Lager, Taddy Lager, Old Brewery Bitter, Alpine Lager & Pure Brewed Organic Lager. A bit off the beaten track. But it has a nice setting just above the river.

Large pub on the outskirts of Richmond with a good outside seating area.

Serves Sam Smiths beer, which means you get a decent pint for reasonable amount of money.

Good service and he staff are helpful.

A pleasant enough pub, very neat and tidy. Good service. Comfortable pub to visit after the walk in snowbound Richmond Park yesterday. The Sam Smiths was up to standard.
