| Could not disagree more about the previous two comments, the new landlady is taking great steps into making this a more traditional pub than it ever has been, new furniture has replaced most of the outdated tatty furniture, the kitchen has been ripped out and fully replaced, the toilets and area leading out to the garden have been renovated and I do believe that the exterior of the building is due to be renovated with new signs, windows replaced etc. the pub is now getting busier and attracting new people. All in all I would say another pub that is slowly but surely getting back to a nice little local, that probably would have closed if the current landlady wasn't so enthusiastic about restoring this place into a great pub. | Yet another closed pub. This one at least had a sign indicating it was closed for a refurbishment. So I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and review next time I'm in the area - could be another 10 years or so though! blue_scrumpy - 5 Oct 2013 16:27 |
