| probably suffers a bit from being on the edge of town but it ismy nearest pub so i thought i'd give a go for the first time in ages, quite suprised by two things - saturday night and only about 5 customers and the quality of the ale has improved considerably since my last visit, a decent guest beer policy might get me back sooner next tme moclips2002 - 28 Oct 2012 15:39 |

| It's Friday, 8 October 2010. It's also my birthday and The Ship Inn is our nearest pub which serves food. We arrived at about 1.20 to be told the 'lady wot cooks' had just done two meals but had now gone down to the bank. I could see a couple of people still eating their lunch, so it had obviously only just been served. Why on EARTH leave the pub and quit serving lunches when it was only half way through the lunchtime session? Big disappointment. katie16 - 8 Oct 2010 16:52 |
