A local's pub to say the least. Has obviously suffered from the smoking ban. Had a decent Pedi and Hobgoblin on. The layout and the seating arrangement are strange but there is a decent smoking area for smokers without the need to get wet. goalman2000 - 27 May 2010 23:19 |
Visited on Friday 23rd Oct at night. My first thoughts was how strange this pub was. I was in what i would have called the main room or lounge but this pub had around 3 other small rooms off each of the corridors and a outside terraced area covered outside i presume for the smokers this was full of younger people around the 20 something mark and there was also a flat screen tv hung up outside. Any way the room i was in was what i would call regulars all the seating was around the walls of the room very unusual as no one was stood in the room but seated facing each other. The locals were friendly and so was the staff i think it was 3 real ale beers to choose from which were served perfectly and the ale was well kept just at the right temp.I was going to go in the next night but it was a complete opposite the Friday when every one was seated this time i gave it a miss as it looked at bursting point westminster - 26 Oct 2009 21:38 |
