| RIP The Kings Head. A thumping great gaff with such a variety of usable areas and decent car park. With great potential that should have been developed rather than redeveloped! My then "second" local (after The Sultan), the disposal of this was just the first inclination of the impending shabbiness of Young & Co. But there. PS A year on from the last posted comment, so doubtful if anybody will ever read this but... for those of you that miss the heated "banter" between the bus drivers, I have seen a couple of them in The Sultan every so often. | Drove past it the other day. The pub building is still there, it hasn't been knocked down. New windows, cleaned up brickwork and roof. You never know, one day it might turn back into the Kings Head Pub instead of offices for the bus garage next door. mhartes - 10 Jan 2006 13:49 |

| Yet another rumour that this is being closed down for offices of London transport. Can anyone confirm? Ted Bundy perhaps? if he can manage to spell anything properly.
