This is now a two for one pub chain. I ate here this week with my son and was actually pleasantly surprised. Our young waitress was very friendly and polite. The food arrived in good time after ordering and was really quite nice. I had ribs and chicken, my son had 10oz rump steak, we both had deserts and a drink, all came to a reasonable 19.70p. Not my first choice of place to eat but will return sometime.

Cask ales from the Marston's range, food table service from friendly attentive staff. Recent refurb and meal deals have made it busy especially at week ends. We've stayed many times over the past three years and always happy to return.

Recently had a refurb and looks very smart now. Staff pleasant and the food is good. Always got some ale on and sometimes cider.

Typical Eldridge Pope chain pub, but with good beer (Ringwood). As the last pub on a pub tour of poole (it was close to our B&B) i dont remember the details but it seemed nice enough :)

More like a restuarant with a reputation for good beer. Had a decent pint of Ringwood 49er in here but the place just doesn't have the feel of a pub. I thought that the Eldridge Pope beer is Southern Glory not Summer but I might be wrong. One bloke sat near me must have phoned everybody on his contacts list as he made call after call after call on his mobile. Very aggravating. To sum up, there are too many good pubs in the vicinity to warrant more than the occasional visit to this place.
