Typically Wetherspoon pubs get downrated by people simply because they are Wetherspoon. However, to be dispassionate and non-prejudiced you need to look at what a pub is, not what you might prefer it to be. The Lynd Cross has the best selection of Real Ale in Horsham - 12 beer engines the last time I was there, all connected. A good range of interesting ales, including some locals - and all at a very fair price (with 50p per pint discount for Camra members) Many people who complain are complaining about the clientele - but that cannot, surely, be blamed on the pub. Been here once a few years back. It was a bit ropey on a Saturday tea time, I would say normal 'Spoons for a town centre. My pint was fine but there's much better pubs in Horsham than this one. lezford - 9 Aug 2013 16:52 |

Lovely lunch with friends yesterday. Guinness was lovely. Service a bit slow. Fit staff. rainbowian - 21 Apr 2013 11:44 |
Below average Spoons with a not great choice of ale. WJ KIng Birthday Beer, Tom Wood's Harvest (soon went off) and the Zulu that was brewed for the festival were the only non standard beers. Food was ok. GuideDogSaint - 13 Jun 2010 15:43 |
