A real drinkers pub and not that expensive either. It is easy to walk to from the railway station (easier to walk to than gunny!) It is a little tatty and run down but still felt ok in here. 8/10 montie49 - 5 Jul 2017 17:46 |
Great pub with plenty railway memorabilia on the wall (there is a nearby station in Gunnislake) and a resident cat. The locals are very friendly. The three real ales available were Shepherd Neame Spitfire, Sharps Doom Bar and Courage Best. A traditional boozer. blue_scrumpy - 7 Sep 2009 20:12 |
Lovely pub, good beer and friendly staff. Yes, everyone will stare at you when you go in, but this is Cornwall and you have to expect it. Highly recommended if you like traditional pubs and beer. nich52 - 31 Oct 2006 15:57 |
Family-run for over 40 years. Great beer and warm welcome for locals and strangers alike. Lunches. Brilliant old-fashioned pub! Mick and Hilary - [email protected] - 27 Sep 2003 08:14 |
