| The best pub in the village of "Gunnie". Although it has to be said the other two were pretty dire. The landlady was very friendly to us and gave me a few tips about the area. It is unlikely we will return though as that walk back up to the station is a beast! | OK only one real ale, the Truro-brewed Keltek Magik, which was in perfect nick and thoroughly enjoyed - doubly so as it was only 2 quid a pint! Friendly landlady (I was the only person in the pub at the time tho'). Lunch was a bag of "Salty Dog" Ham and Mustard Crisps with a pickled egg, washed down with a couple of pints - a fiver well spent! | A large pub dominated by a pool table, obviously a local's pub but still very friendly towards us strangers. There was only one real ale available, but that was (the fairly unusual) Black Pearl from Truro brewers Wooden Hand and at a very reasonable price as well. Trequites - 24 May 2006 14:06 |
