The St. Ives grapevine tells me that the pub is up for sale - presumably as part of Sir Tim's clearout of non-profitable outlets. I can understand why - out of season and after about 9.30pm the place is usually pretty empty. Shame! scoobybooze2 - 21 Sep 2023 18:23 |

Its a bit of a maze when you first enter, but there are the usual beers, at the usual prices. When I was there most of the customers were families having their early evening feed. Not a problem , after all parents are looking for value for money. So I sat in the beer garden. I reckon in peak times could be choc a bloc. Leftinthepub44 - 26 Mar 2015 17:05 |
Pleasant enough 'Spoons - looks a bit like a café on first entering, but work your way through the pub and upstairs it is nicely appointed although the beer choice is not as extensive as in the downstairs servery.Nice little outside area for smokers and/or al fresco drinking. scoobybooze - 1 Mar 2014 18:09 |
