Very well organised for social distancing etc. Tables allocated inside or outside according to numbers. Good selection of real ales and delicious thin crust pizzas. Very clean and smart toilets - upstairs - and a surprisingly large number of them. An excellent place to visit during current restrictions.

So much of a hipster joint that even Nathan Barley would blush, this is beyond parody in so many ways and it would be rude not to spend your time here debating the pros and cons of gentrification. However, it really is brilliant - a fabulous beer selection including the divine Triple Chocoholic from Saltaire, tasty looking pizzas, superb music (which I could not identify - often the best kind) and a pleasing canalside location. Carried off with aplomb as so much hipster stuff is.

Went through more of the range this time and all their ales were in decent nic. The pizzas were eatable (though served on some MFI offcuts), staff fairly good at serving. Some of the customers were a pain though - taking ages to decide what beer to buy doing a Jilly Goolding impersonation in the process (ooh there's hints of burnt eucalyptus leaves mingling with koala bear toenail clippings in that one) while you're stood behind with a mouth like Gandhi's flip flop. Okay if you like eating and drinking on canteen benches in a warehouse environment.

Posey hipster bar. Not a proper pub.

Great location by the Lea. It gets very busy and as others mention it serves some tasty pizzas. Whilst the beer here is good, I think the beer next door in Howling Hops is better.
