| After several visits to Cardiff I have at last been introduced to a truly excellent pub. Good quality beer (a rarity) promptly served in a superb street corner local. Two very well kept and decent sized rooms cater for all. Large public bar with piped music on the one hand and quiet comfortable lounge on the other. | A grand ole boozer with a split personality that caters for two very different types of client�le. Estate & sports crowd in the larger public bar, students, post-grads & the pub-quiz crowd in the smaller saloon. All served with well-kept Brains beers. | Cosy and very friendly traditional two rooms pub on the outskirts of Cardiff. We went there early on a Saturday afternoon (03.02.2007) to watch Liverpool-Everton on the TV screen and to have some pints of well kept ales on cask from the Brains Brewery.
