This is by far my favourite pub in the area for a beer now. After a couple of years of languishing with identikit lagers and the odd nice ale, they now have two nice handpulls, a kegged IPA, a 'craft' lager and dozens and dozens of bottles from around the world. It's not the cheapest place around, but you get a really nice crowd in, and the decor, staff and food are all fantastic _pete_ - 10 Mar 2015 10:45 |
Gave the Star and Anchor after the Ealing Beer festival a few Saturdays back - What can I say, They had some live Blues, and the atmosphere was fantastic, It was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a drink, they had an amazing rang of craft beers (I had an Odells I think, a few beers at the festival leave me hazy) there was a great garden out the back, but the music was too good to spend too much time outside smoking! I have only just found this place but am VERY glad I have (and have been back several times since) If you haven't been there, give it a visit! london26 - 16 Jul 2014 04:14 |

WTF.....this place looks class, but they got the must annyoing barman ever who would not shut the fuck up about his 'amazing' bloody marys, what an ass. to in your face for my liking. anyway roast was so so, below standard for its price, but other punters did not think so as it was fairly busy. real ale was like muck sundayroastie - 24 Oct 2012 17:04 |
