Only 5 people in here on Saturday lunchtime. Short walk from Tate Britain. Did enjoy my 2/3 pint of keg Yonder Upside Down even though it cost £9! 3 cask ales from Salopian, 2 from Fyne Ales and 1 from Burning Sky.

A re visit for me on the 28th December with a few friends old and new who all like their ale so this was the perfect meeting place.

10 different ales on the 10 cask hand pumps and a similar number of keg beers also available, and then there’s the bottle selection which must be close to a 100 bottles. The price of the cask ales is a bit high in my opinion, keg ales are always more expensive.

We stayed for around 7 hours going through the cask and keg ales, sharing a few plates of chips and soaking up the buzzy atmosphere.

Knowledgeable bar staff who know their beer and are on hand to offer samples of the ales and advice. As I said it’s a bit pricey but has a great range of ales and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, certainly worth the walk from Victoria station.

A bit cheeky on the pricing,George Osborne takes a penny off, the Cask put twenty on,decent beer at far lower prices elsewhere.6/10.

An exceptionally good ale exhibition pub, the beer is the star and are kept really well.Ten handpumps with a carefully considered choice. The pub is ultra clean, slightly soulless. This is so much better than the Hope at Carshalton (a few dodgy warm ales, untidy and nowhere near as clean.9/10

Great pub, great choice of ales. Yes it can be expensive (especially on the higher % beers) and the food is limited (not a problem as this is a specialist beer pub).

You'll never get bored here, have visited several times. Everyone I have taken here for the first time is blown away.
