Now the Warwick. Im amazed that a pub serving up Greene King IPA and Abbot can be so pretentious. I overcame the urge to sit with the oh yas in the sofa section at the rear and I knocked back my half and left. Strongers - 5 Nov 2009 00:14 |
Had 1 big drink in this place before recent changes - and wish I hadnt, crikey it was pricy and the most unwelcoming barstaff. gonetolunch - 16 Mar 2009 19:40 |
Used to enjoy going to this pub. Very friendly staff and quality gov. Seems he got the chop and now prices have gone through the roof while service and food has dropped. Doesnt merit its prices anymore. No beers on draught now. Thought this was a Greene King. I now prefer the Marquis (quality and good beers) and the new Page(good service, good food but pricey, mines a Los Cardos. Why cant good pubs last? iknowmybeer - 20 Sep 2008 14:40 |
One of the most over priced, up its own arse pubs I've ever had the misfortune to go into in the SW1 area. It only gets a 1 from me - and thats for being able to get out quick ! blueallover - 12 Sep 2008 09:23 |
3.50 for a bog-standard glass of house red and full of overflowing ashtrays which the clueless barstaff showed no inclination of cleaning. Criminally overpriced and rubbish. anonymous - 5 May 2007 21:59 |
