The most old-fashioned of the pubs we visited in Ingleton. Split into distinct bar and restaurant areas, the former had a quiz machine and TV football and Thwaites Lancaster Bomber (very good), Good Elf and Original whereas the restaurant side of the counter had (slightly annoyingly) the Original as well but also Old Hooky and Wainwright. Cider was Kingstone Press. It was OK and worth trying perhaps if you fancy a change if staying in the village. paul_d102 - 15 Dec 2013 19:38 |
Pretty average as they go, soft furnished interior pub. Slightly archaically closed in the afternoons. Nothing particularly special beerwise as a Thwaites pub, but have a beer festival. PhilR - 24 Aug 2013 13:00 |
Average. Not really for the under-60's, beer okay though. Probably won't pop back in. jc1979 - 16 Mar 2012 19:11 |
Nice pub, visited on a Friday evening and popular with locals and visitors. Reasonable food menu and good range of ale including Wainwright and an impressive Porter. anybody - 19 Feb 2012 16:51 |
Very pleasant village pub in the Yorkshire Dales. Generally 3 Thwaites hand pump beers on. Beer is normally of good quality and the food is pretty good too. Also does B&B which has a good reputation. Lederhosen - 5 May 2010 15:36 |
