Not a Tesco Express! That's down the High Street. Went in on Sunday and had an excellent meal. Not suprising though since it's a restaraunt and, only at a real stretch you may be able to call it a bar. Tourmalet - 24 Mar 2015 14:06 |
Have now become a regular diner at La Familiar. The food is always lovely and of the highest quality The table staff are attentive, polite and helpful. All in all a lovely place in which to enjoy a really great night out. highstreetdrinker - 24 Jun 2011 16:20 |
I heard that La familiar had had a change of ownership so decided to give it another try and was very pleased I did. Maria and her husband were charming and fantastic hosts. The bar/restaurant area is beautifully decorated and presented as are the toilets and wash rooms. Our food was lovely, fresh and cooked to our liking and arrived quickly and with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who all joined in with the evenings entertainment which made our visit a very enjoyable one. A very well done to the new owners for turning this place around so well and we will certainly see you again soon highstreetdrinker - 25 Mar 2011 15:46 |
Lovely restaurant...possibly bar...not a pub though T_Burne - 20 Apr 2010 21:16 |
It has been a while since I last had a chance to visit La Familia, but last saturday night I had dinner there with my wife and two other guests, the service was outstanding and the food was great, I had the Dover Sole for main and the mussels in cream and onion sauce for starters. I totally agree with the last comments this is not a pub, but a well stablished, high class rerstaurant that was very much needed here in Hampton Hill, for some of us a bit of class is necessary and there was nothing in Hampton that provided high quality food, with great service and wonderful atmosphere. The place was super busy last saturday, with not a sigle table available, I am glad I had made a reservation, surely they are doing something right. jackb - 4 Feb 2010 14:45 |
