A traditional pub with all that implies. Unruined interior decor and also a very nice garden. Sort of reminds me of the Wych Elm in Kingston. Courage Best was palatable. Two other ales on. rainlight - 18 Jul 2015 15:26 |
Wonderful, friendly pub on the high street. PJ keeps his pipes in excellent condition, theres a solid selection of ales and lagers. Can become a tight squeeze when the footballs on. Good pub. Tourmalet - 28 Dec 2012 23:10 |
Fabulous, friendly local. Great Landlords (PJ and Mary), super garden. 2012 - 150 Anniversary richa06 - 15 Dec 2012 12:08 |
Like this place, traditional feel and 2 TVs with live sport. Pride and Courage on draught and the husband and wife team seem friendly enough. Novel shelter outside with wood burner for smokers is an interesting touch. thehonesttruth - 4 Nov 2011 22:37 |
There is cold beer and then there is freezing cold beer, need to turn the chiller down a couple of notches!! HamptonBoozer123 - 25 Nov 2010 14:04 |
