Ive been to the pub quiz about three times and the same team won every time. Last time we looked up the answers on my mobile and still lost. What a swizz.
Good place for a beer though.

This pub has reopened with new owners after being closed for at least 6 months. It has been redecorated inside and out. The bare wooden floors are now alleviated by rugs and there is an eclectic mix of furniture which blends well with the decor. There are 5 cask ales on the bar which are all well kept. Food is reasonably priced but I haven't tried any yet. It is comfortable and well worth adding back to your list of pubs to visit.

Oh dear what a shame. The pub is at the bottom of the re-cycling process again. Wanted: long term manager, first class pub chef to combine with current friendly barstaff. Very sad to see the current state of a pub with massive potential to do well (as has done in the past)

Used to live near the Leg in which time it has gone from poor to excellent to dire to excellent again. New managers have really added to the place. Good food, really good value and couldn't be more helpful. My wife asked for a brie and bacon baguette, asked if there was any cranberry sauce to go with it, they didn't so they went out and bought some from next door shop for her. Couldn't have tried harder to please. Had the homemade pie which was top notch and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Nice selection of beers.

Good point re previous reviews. But I seem to recall that they were all pretty scathing of the pub. Huge turn round though and there is a selection of good beers back on including Wadworths 6X. Pub has been cleaned up, redecorated and is now a nice place to go again. Restaurant also recommended.
