user reviews of the Old Dog and Partridge, Nottingham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

You could pick certain pubs up and place them in areas and they won't look out of place. Well folks if you like drinking out of plastic glasses at dinner time, listening to bad karaoke, pissing in a toilet that must have the deepest urinal I've seen well this is your place, god knows how it's gained cask marque certification.

A somewhat eccentric mix of customers use this place. Always seems to be busy and never had any problems in my visits here. Not everyones cup of tea but I strangely like the atmosphere in here.

Memories of this pub in 1961, when the vandals used to throw there beer bottles over the wall onto the passing trains below, especially if Forest won their match

Busy city centre pub populated almost entirely by raucous over 50's. Didn't seem the kind of place for decent ale so I had a lager. This place was a bit of a throwback though it's good to see an old fashioned city centre boozer that hasn't been poncified, gastrified or turned in to a venue for brattish kids.

Fairly typical town centre pub, but a decent pint of Bombardier, and a bizarre discussion about western tv show themes with some blokes I didn't know.
