Yet another change. Pub People have offloaded to another regime. Blue Monkey beers have gone - a more national list on offer now. Too early to say if this one is going to work out. twohalves - 12 Aug 2014 18:59 |
Now doing food again. A more realistic, pub classics, menu. Rather than the finer dining of previous times. Three Blue Monkey beers, really well kept. Perfect. twohalves - 26 Apr 2014 10:00 |
Pub apparently has quickly re-opened. Lease taken on by the Pub People Company, who have a lot of decent pubs around the North Midlands. Usually championing local micro producers, so might be good. I will try it out and report. twohalves - 21 Dec 2013 08:06 |
Pub now closed. The company that ran the place put a notice up saying how the competition had driven them out of business as they were unable to compete. That'll be the Butter Cross (JD Wetherspoon) then. twohalves - 5 Dec 2013 17:54 |
Pub rapidly going down hill. Hardly any real ale on. Needs help fast. glugg - 25 Apr 2013 15:09 |
