| I have fond memories of this pub but I'm afraid that three visits in the last couple of years have shown a pattern. This is a locals pub & the girls working behind the bar are more interested in talking with their mates than serving anybody else. Not the best pint of Unicorn Bitter either if that's what it was. | This is my most favourite place to have a meal anywhere ! The menu is massive , the portions are huge . and they always go the extra mile to be helpful . The waiting on staff are superb and so helpful and polite. It is spotlessly clean , and the hostess Carole knows faces who have visted before , an admirable quality in her business. I had some Australian friends staying with me and they wanted to try an English ploughman s lunch which was nt actually on the menu . But it was no problem .
