Okay place, just about. The lady behind the bar was friendly enough. My pints of Ringwood Brewery’s Forty-Niner hit the spot – lighter tasting than I expected for a 4.9% beer. Some of my companions didn’t like their choice. The baguettes were poor quality bread, but the salad was nice and fresh (which is so often a fault). I wouldn’t return here. Very quiet at lunchtime. Re visit with my wife, pub smelt of carbolic and the landlord was just bloomin' rude, bade farewell without buying a drink or food. Based on the previous comment all may not be well here? odbod - 31 Oct 2013 15:25 |
Tried to visit the Pheasant on a recent Sunday evening. About 9.30 in evening, stools on tables, lights mostly out, with that sort of welcome, gave it a miss. Sorry, if you can't be bothered to look as if you want business, then it is n't going to come in Andylk - 20 Oct 2013 09:49 |
