Roadside country pub on a B road to Ledbury. There's plenty of hops in the main bar, whilst there's also a separate dining area. A couple of locals were drinking at the bar. The rest of the clientele were eating. Ales were Wye Valley Bitter, Ledbury Gold & Bathams Best. No real ciders were available. blue_scrumpy - 3 Aug 2015 19:27 |

Visited for Sunday Lunch, nice pub and dog friendly. There were seven of and had a nice lunch albeit a little expensive. We had arrived a little earlier than the table was booked for and apologised to the lady at the bar who said it wasnt a problem and showed us to our table, our order for lunch was taken in due course no problem. Meals started to arrive with a very pleasant female waitress, unfortunately our whole experience was ruined by a very very rude "landlord" who brought out the last three meals and was very unpleasant to the point of being extremely rude, I have never in my life experienced anyone this rude in a restaurant. Needless to say we never ordered sweets or further drinks and will not be returning. Sindysue - 26 Apr 2011 15:42 |
Visited on a Sunday Lunch. Very busy. Appeared to be food led with 20 odd tables of people having lunch. Nice quality pub with friendly, if a bit stressed, landlord (there was a table of about 12 including 6 kids who took it in turns to see who could cry the loudest). Good choice of beers including Bathams in very good nick. Middle of the afternoon filled with locals, a T.V. appeared for the rugby, and the atmosphere became one of a cosy village pub. I imagine it would be a great local early evening. Will re visit. Chaslyn - 14 Mar 2011 15:25 |
