Excellent choice of ales. Nice local pub. Ivan_Dobski - 5 Jan 2013 17:35 |
first visit today for sunday carvery , arrived a little late around half two but was still welcomed . Food was lovely and staff very very nice especially lady serving the carvery, let us take our pudding home too ! wish more places were like this will definetly be going more often-at least once a week. Great value and comfortable surroundings with a relaxed homely feel. christyc - 3 Jun 2012 20:01 |
A nice enough village pub with a reasonable selection of drinks - Marstons EPA, Otter Bright & Bitter & Wychwood Hobgoblin, as well as Robinsons Flagon Cider. The barmaid was wearing a Liverpool scarf around her chest, which was a little off-putting! Around half of the pub appeared to be in to watch the Cup Final on the TV. blue_scrumpy - 7 May 2012 11:25 |
Pub has changed hands - local villiagers now seem to be drinking elsewhere. MakkaPakka - 16 May 2009 19:25 |
Well kept selection of real ales. Tenants Rob & Alison extremely friendly and supportive of local community groups. Reliable quality food. Good village pub. aes4liathach - 23 Oct 2008 18:16 |
