| Our local at the end of the street, always makes this a convenient favourite. Choice of four real ales on a rotation, all being guest ales and are kept very well. Good food, served all day Sat and Sun (lovely sunday roasts), great friendly bar staff, which make the difference in pubs these days. Ate here last Sunday and the food and beer was great. | Forget the Aldrington. This is now one of the best pubs in this part of town. Nice atmosphere, good beer and a very good menu - especially the burgers! If the new look Eclipse (renamed The Poets Corner) turns out to be rubbish I may well shift my allegiance. REVERENDBAZ - 5 Mar 2010 07:55 |
