Very pleasant pub right in the heart of Poets' Corner. Good range of beer, really tasty food, friendly staff. What's not to like? Spoonography - 11 Aug 2014 13:03 |
Lovely pub on the corner. Very clean and fresh. Lovely food and drink. Nice and near station. rainbowian - 17 Apr 2013 12:28 |
Massively out of date info, now the George Payne. Completely refurbished, four excellent ales, good pub food menu (I didn't eat there but a trusted mate does and she recommended it), and clearly popular with locals. "Family-friendly" and TV screens, neither of which I like, but there's a part of the pub where you can escape all that. Definitely worth a visit. melita666 - 18 Feb 2013 11:50 |
OK local's pub with 4 real ales and a cider. Uncle_Dunkel - 14 Jan 2013 19:50 |
It's been completly done out and renamed The George Payne. I have not been in but looks a lot tidier than it used do. regg3y - 31 May 2012 20:10 |
