| went in for breakfast this morning and had the nicest breakfast, with runny egg and bacon cooked well done, coffee was nice too. its a shame that this pub is in a bad state of repair, as peeling off wall paper is very unattractive. I did find the staff very friendly and the coffee was brought over for me which was nice. it was really busy so could benefit from a few extra staff cleaning the tables quicker, but overall with a bit of redecoration and a few more staff it could be really great. yummy3 - 5 Nov 2013 19:28 |
| During a days shopping in Grimsby I suggested we go for lunch to this place as last time wasnt too bad. What a mistake. It stank,the table was filthy from previous diners, we had to 'find' the kids menu's on the floor under the table. we ordered the food which was slow, when the food arrived my order was wrong. (beefburger rather than chicken). They took it away again and blamed the mistake on the bar staff. I then had to wait a further 15 minutes while the rest of my family ate. Eventually a chicken burger arrived - again, wrong. Smothered in bbq sauce which i cant stand!!! I was too hungry to argue any further so i wiped the sauce off the best i could and ate alone as my family had finished eating by that point. No real apology, nobody came to see if our food was ok, the ice creams that were supposed to be included in the kids meals never arrived so we left the godforsaken hole never to return again.... pub_goer83 - 25 Aug 2013 22:47 |
