| Very smart bar with an upstairs restaurant, it�s the sister bar to Babycream just round the corner. We�ve eaten in the restaurant twice recently, it�s a bit pricey but it is very good. The bar has a live DJ who has always been playing things at a sensible volume when we�ve been in (up until around 10), but I expect it ramps up later at night when the bouncers are on the door (it�s open until 2). It�s nicely decorated in the fairly minimalist style that seems to be popular round Albert Dock. It has subdued lighting and a mix of comfortable seating. Only fizz on the bar of course and I had to drink Amstel, but they are efficient at serving you. Beyonce hired the whole place when The Brits were on at the Echo Arena across the dock, it�s that sort of place. ROBCamra - 26 Jun 2009 15:05 |
