| My Doom Bar was in fine condition as was the cheerful service. Seems to have been pretty much unaltered for some time but nevertheless cosy. Got talking to a couple of friendly regulars which was a definite plus. There were food offers for Senior Citizen evident on the blackboards outside hence most of the clientele were in this age range. The menu looked good although we only tried the soup which was fine. | I visited this pub at the reccomendation of a local resident. I thought that it was a great place. Good welcome, local ale on, kept well. The lunch was very good and excellent value.
