Highly recomended. Only a limited range of beer, but it was in perfect condition, and served straight from the cask, which is unusual. The beer is kept in a cold room behind the bar, hand pumps are installed but not normally used. I stayed overnight recently and recomend the accomadation, the breakfast was excellent. Have not tried other meals, but hopefully these are as good as the breakfast. mikeholt - 12 Sep 2010 08:57 |
the only real 'locals' pub in Tisbury, commonly acknowledged to keep the best beer in Wiltshire. I've never had a pint that was less than excellent there, long live Patsy! (and hope to god it doesn't try to change what works when she retires!!!) spec - 12 Aug 2010 16:11 |
More of a pub feel to it than others in the village and also handy for the station. Large and airy Victorian building which has been recently done up without looking too modern. Courage Best,Young's and Ringwood on offer. Went for the Ringwood which was drinkable enough. anonymous - 11 Apr 2010 11:24 |
