Narrow stone frontage but goes back a long way. Had a pint of Abbot which was in its usual JDW excellent condition and a beef madras curry as it was curry day - all for less than £6! Service was quick and I was asked if the food was OK after it had arrived at the table. Time was around noon and although quiet, customers kept on arriving. My table at the front nearest the road gave me a good view of the large TV showing Sky news with subtitles. Worth returning to when I'm next in the area. Feed - 3 Mar 2017 08:29 |
In her last Saturday just after noon and quiet for a JDW pub. It’s smart in here and above average I would say. A range of the Festival Ales are on sale @ £1.95 a pint. bjbrummiejohn - 3 Nov 2014 08:25 |
Wetherspoons. You know what you are getting. Unless you are in Wilshire, where there is always cake on the bar to purchase. Mappiman - 21 Mar 2014 11:24 |
