| A coach party had just arrived when I visited on a weekday lunchtime and it was difficult to find an unreserved seat. So I went to the pub opposite and returned later - to find no bar staff serving. Got served presently but didn't eat as pricey - eg. jackets �6.50, sandwiches �5. However, it's spacious, clean and comfortable as well as historic being the old station - the courtyard outside appears to be on the old platform. Pity about the tall fence making it difficult to see any more of the railway or opposite platform. As I left there seemed to be some issue with processing a customer's card and the 'one table, one bill' policy, the young staff member couldn't deal with it and had to get assistance.
